Die Fritzbox arbeitet als DNS Proxy und kennt intern die Domain "fritz.box" und löst das auch weiterhin auf ihre interne IP Adresse auf.
Das ist ggf. nur problematisch, wenn man in seinem internen Netzwerk einem Klienten per Netzwerk-Einstellungen per se einen anderen/externen DNS Server als das Fritzbox-Gateway eingetragen oder ein VPN aktiviert hat.
In diesen Fällen hätte der Zugriff auf die FritzBox per "http://fritz.box" eh nicht funktioniert (Server nicht gefunden). Jetzt, da diese Domain extern registriert ist, kann es in vorgenannten Konstellationen zum Abruf dieses externen Servers kommen, sonst nicht.
